Physical Education October 28- October 31

We are starting our next round of units for Grades 5 , 8 and 9!

Grades 5, 8 and 9:

Group 1: Combatives (Wrestling) - Small Gym
Group 2: Basketball - Main Gym
Group 3: Health - Health Rooms (See the PE Board for locations for each grade)!


We are wrapping up our first round of units in Grades 6 and 7!

Grades 6 and 7:

Group 1: Health - See the PE Board for locations for each grade!
Group 2: Soccer - Outside-  Dress for the weather!
Group 3: Volleyball - Main Gym
Group 4: Combatives (Wrestling) - Small Gym

NOTE:
- Wednesday Morning, Grades 8 and 9 PE will be outside playing some games due to the gymnasium being used for Photo Retakes!  Make sure you are prepared for the weather!

-On Thursday, due to everyone being dressed up in Halloween Costumes, we will be all together doing Just Dance in the Main Gym!

Physical Education October 14 - 24 , 2019

We are into our third rotation of units this year!  For Grades 5, 8 and 9, this means they are almost done their first round of units.  Grades 6 & 7 are half way through their first round of units.

Grade 5, 8 and 9:
Group 1: Health
Group 2: Volleyball
Group 3: Soccer

Grade 6 & 7:
Group 1: Combatives
Group 2: Health
Group 3: Soccer
Group 4: Volleyball


Students are reminded that they are expected to be changed for Physical Education class!  This included proper footwear, as well as a change of clothes (both top and bottom).  If they are not changed, it affects their ability to participate safely, as well as brings down their mark.

Physical Education Grades 5 - 9

Students started their second rotation of the first round of units.  The group numbers are as follows:

Grade 5, 8 and 9:

Group 1: Soccer
Group 2: Health
Group 3: Volleyball

Grades 6 & 7:

Group 1: Volleyball
Group 2: Combatives
Group 3: Health
Group 4: Soccer

** Soccer will be working indoors until the field is clear if snow.  Students are reminded to have multiple layers in their lockers, so that they can dress accordingly for the weather **
